Best Commercial Ever

Things I learned from watching this: The flea market... Montgomery... it's just like... a mini-mall, and if you do a little step to the left and a little step to the right you're doing the "flea market shuffle." I watched this flabbergasting commercial again last night wondering if this might be a staged hoax, but I'm convinced more than ever that it's not. If there's ever a reason that God invented YouTube, you needn't seek any further to find one than this precious gem right here. This misguided flea market owner seemed to think his customers just needed a little rap and a little dance to excite them on down in Montgomery (Alabama?). And I must say, if I ever do find myself down there I might just have to drop in to ask for an autograph. Simultaneously frightening, hilarious and sad, I give you... the BEST COMMERCIAL EVER!!!

Ebby & Bun Eat Dinner

The final entry in the "eating trilogy" with my cats has Ebby & Bun chowing on some dinner time yums under the infrared green glow of nightvision. For whatever reason, this piece has failed to take off in the number of views compared with "lunch" and "breakfast." Is it because the nightvision makes the image quality murky? Is it because E&B eating videos are so "2006" or maybe the cats are really just playing this one by the numbers. In any event, i encourage you all to watch and enjoy, because, you know, my heart and soul is in this work and i feel that it's evident.

the restaurant where we had our first kiss...

...like our relationship, has gone out of business.

This is the site of the location where Kat and I had consumated our mutual interest so many years ago, sealing it with a kiss (or several, if memory serves). Alas, time has not been kind to the Manhattan Chili Company of Times Square. Though to be fair, their food was ridiculously overpriced and their happy hour margaritas weren't all that happy. I suppose, in retrospect, it was just a matter of time before the whole operation went busto.
